It takes a special kind of person to go up against Roy Keane – but Jurgen Klopp did it and won after Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Arsenal on Monday night.

Alan Shearer tried and had some success, and Mick Mccarthy…well, the less said the better.

Liverpool went behind to an Alexandre Lacazette goal in the opening 25 minutes at Anfield before Sadio Mane immediately hit back.

Andrew Robertson added the second before new signing Diego Jota recorded his first Liverpool goal to round off a dominant 3-1 victory.

Such was Liverpool’s dominance that they recorded a whopping 677 passes to Arsenal’s meer 295, with Virgil Van Dijk racking up 117 of them.

“I’m not sure if I heard him right, it cannot be this game. This was absolutely exceptional; nothing was sloppy.

In fact, Klopp got so mad that Keane ended up being the one who seemingly backed off the Liverpool boss and tried to calm him down.

🗣️ “Did Mr Keane say it was a sloppy performance? Maybe he is speaking about another game…” 👀
