The Australians Sam Stosur and Matt Ebden went down in straight sets in the mixed double finals at the Australian Open

Stosur and Ebden were the only Australians to reach a final at Melbourne Park in 2021

The pair lost 6-1, 6-4 against number six, Barbora Brejáková from the Czech Republic and the American Rajeev Ram in the Rod Laver Arena

Brejà ?? Ãková and Ram dropped out again in the third game on Stosur’s serve, with the Australians losing the crucial point due to a mistake

The pair took a 4-0 lead before their opponents got into the game with Ebden to 15.But they couldn’t move forward as Stosur went broke again in the seventh game when Brejáková and Ram won the set with 6 in 22 minutes : 1 scored

The Australians made more progress in the second set, and games continued on serve until Brejáková and Ram took three direct points 30-15 down to get Ebden’s serve in 10th Break the game and get the title

Brejà ?? Ãková and Ram, who were in full quarantine upon arriving in Australia, went all the way in the mixed doubles competition

It was Brejà ?? Ãkovás third title in a row â ???? she won with Ram in 2019, then partner Nikola MektiÄ ?? to victory last year before returning to Ram for this year’s tournament
