Before the start of the season next week, the AFL is building a sense of community around the game and underlines the love of football fanatics for the game

The campaign is set for INXS ‘six-time platinum track “Kick” with classic AFL commentary and features star players and backyard legends who experience the dream moment of scoring the winning goal after the siren

To showcase the diversity of foot families across the country, fan material was collected from Australians playing the game on backyards, local soccer ovals and beaches

Historic AFL moments used in the film include Malcolm Blight’s Torpedo 1976, Ashley Mcgrath’s “Miracle on Grass” 2013, and Carlton’s Jack Newnes

The Clemenger BBDO Melbourne and MOFA campaign introduces the “This is us” line, a diversion from the “Believe” and “Don’t Believe in Never” platforms used in recent years
