PITTSBURGH — It will be a little slick in areas to start the day Thursday, as snowy roads could leave you slipping and sliding for the morning commute.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for parts of the area until 7 a.m. Friday.
The first round of snow from a slow-moving system will cross the area Thursday morning, with the steadiest snow south and east of the city. Watch for slow travel.

Another round of snow will be around for the evening commute Thursday. Some freezing rain and rain could mix in with the snow south of Pittsburgh.
A couple inches of snow are possible in the Pittsburgh area through Thursday night, with higher amounts southeast toward the mountains.
