Opposition leader Anthony Albanese was hospitalized this afternoon after a car accident in Sydney’s Inner West

Emergency services were called to Hill Street in Marrickville at around 5:00 p.m. after reports of a crash were received

Police were told that a black Range Rover driven by a 17-year-old struck the Toyota Camry driven by Mr Albanese

NSW police said the Range Rover driver was driving west on Hill Street when he hit Mr. Albanese

“The driver of the Toyota was treated on the spot before he was brought to RPA in stable condition, “said a police spokesman

“Officers from the Inner West Police Area Command participated and have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident. Inquiries continue”

Mr. Albanese lives in Marrickville and is a MP for Grayndler’s seat, which encompasses most of Sydney’s Inner West
