Rumors have been circulating for months about how Denise Drysdale managed to break her shoulder on the family-friendly golf show Holey Moley

But speculation was finally brought to a standstill on Sunday evening when recordings of the 72-year-old’s terrible fall were finally broadcast

The incident happened when Denise competed against former Olympic speed skater Steven Bradbury during a Frankenputt challenge

Fall: Denise Drysdale, 72, suffered a painful shoulder injury as a result of Holey Moley on Sunday after an electric shock stunt went wrong

As part of the Frankenstein course, participants who missed their shots were zapped by an “electric shock machine” controlled by an actor wearing an “evil gopher” costume

After Denise missed her shot, she playfully tried to chase the gopher on the track, but lost her balance and fell over

‘Give us your little furry hand!’ she screamed happily before tripping and hitting the floor with her shoulder

‘Did she just fall on your shoulder?’ Co-commentator Rob Riggle asked when medical professionals, producers, and production staff rushed to Denise’s aide

‘Oh, that hurt like hell Oh my god’ Denise groaned and added, ‘Where are we going from here? ‘

Within minutes, the medical staff had Denise’s arm wrapped in a sling and put her in a wheelchair

Painful: Medics, producers and production workers rushed to Denise’s aide when she was lying in agony on the floor writing

‘Ahh, I’m in a noose damn gopher! ‘She said before telling her competitor, “Steven, I’m out!”

with her

‘I had a little accident, I broke my shoulder and then sat down for three months, there was nothing I could do,’ she told Studio 10 earlier this month

“The hand hasn’t come back yet,” chuckled the TV veteran as she raised her left hand and made a claw movement

Recovery: Denise showed up at Studio 10 earlier this month and confirmed she had broken her shoulder in the fall and had been recovering for three months

‘No pain is no stranger anyway! ‘she joked in response before admitting that she felt embarrassed by the accident

In October, Denise announced to Studio 10 that she had been placed in a situation she shouldn’t have been in when she fell over and injured herself

‘I wasn’t playing stupid guys It was 3:30 a.m. and a section I was just doing shouldn’t even have been considered,’ she said

‘I did it, and I shouldn’t have. I learned a terrible lesson at my age, but it changed my thinking – again! ‘

Hospital: In October, Denise provided Studio 10 with this photo of her recovering from her shoulder injury in hospital, but gave little information on what actually happened
