BELGRADE, 6 January / TASS / Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on an Orthodox Christmas, the Serbian leader’s press service said in a statement on Wednesday

The Serbian head of state emphasized that Serbia and Russia “showed close relations and strong friendship” in the challenging year 2020. Vucic thanked Putin for the support of the Serbian people and the Serbian Orthodox Church in Kosovo and Metohija as well as for his personal contribution to the Completion of the work on the decoration of the Church of the Holy Sava in Belgrade

According to the press service, Vucic also congratulated Patriarch Kirill from Moscow and all of Russia
