Regina – After a year of being penned in and being asked to minimize travel, the prospects of spending some time at the lake seem pretty good right now. If you’re looking to book a campsite, get ready as the Department of Parks, Culture and Sports Launches its New Saskatchewan Provincial Park Website. Campers in these parks can now browse the new reservations website and create an account to start reservations for the campsite in 2021 on December 12th Prepare April

“After many months of preparation, we are pleased to be able to make our new reservation system for campsites available to the public,” said Laura Ross, Minister for Parks, Culture and Sports, in a press release on December 31 March “This reservation system offers customers new convenience and is very different from previous years. This is a great opportunity for campers to familiarize themselves with the new system so that their reservation process runs smoothly in the coming weeks”

The new reservation website can be found at www ParksSaskatchewanca from 12 April customers who prefer to reserve via the call center can still do so by calling 1-833-775-7275

Reservations start at 7 a.m. every day – there is no longer a need to log into the system 20 minutes early to be queued, the ministry said. The full reservation schedule is as follows:

Before making a reservation, campers can create a new account and check changes to the 2021 camping season. Campers can find tutorials and an overview of what this camping season has to offer at ParksSaskatchewanca

New this year, all vehicle registrations are available online and through the call center. Campers will see that vehicle registrations are automatically added to their shopping cart when they make their camping reservation. Campers who purchase daily or weekly entry permits can now print permits from home and annual permits can be picked up at the park.If you buy admission in advance, campers can use Sask Parks’ automatic check-in feature to get straight to their campsite as soon as they arrive at the park.This improvement will be made on busy weekends, according to the ministry Keeping traffic moving through the entrance gates

Signage will be posted in all parks to remind visitors of safety protocols and public health guidelines. Park staff will implement improved cleaning and disinfection procedures and minimize contact in the park where possible
