A Woolworths Frozen Shrimp recall just days before Christmas was extended to all but one state for fear of contamination
The recall for the cooked and peeled cocktail shrimp from the Woolworths brand was made on Wednesday – just two days before the 25th December
The recall said the popular Christmas Day delicacy was on shelves in Victoria, South Australia, the Northern Territory and Western Australia, as well as in Woolworths Metro stores in Victoria
However, an update has revealed that the affected shrimp are also available in Woolworths stores in New South Wales, Tasmania and the ACT
The recall for the cooked and peeled cocktail shrimp from the Woolworths brand was made on Wednesday – just two days before the 25th December (archive image)
The affected shrimp – which are supplied in a 1 kg bag – have a best before date of 21 February 2022
Woolworths customers who purchased the shrimp are requested to return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund
