Okay, it took a couple of episodes, but we’re in a GROOVE with this season we know we’re going to be an apocalyptic void / black until the arrival of the last Eldritch Terror, which I believe is an apocalyptic void A hole is that everything will swallow and destroy, escalate I assume it’s no coincidence that the first episode is also the best so far without our double Sabrinas.Although I respect ambition, that was way more story than a show could chew on, and I wish I could tell , I think we’re done with this once and for all, but with Caliban out here trying to commit infanticide I doubt we’ve seen the last of his lovely wife But let’s focus on the positives: an episode, that brings us down a suitably creepy terror, a non-annoying use of Greendale High and his students, a cute new boy for Brina, the slow and steady revival of Nick’s affection, and at least became A Crisis (the bathtub that makes a friend) turned away Continue!

So it turns out that the twins, creatively named Judith and Judas, are at Blackwood in the interests of full disclosure, I considered going back to my last recap and pretending to know this all along, however I’ve made up my mind to be honest with you and admit that I’ve lost sight of you What can I say? My administration believes in transparency. But here they are and what a relief! Blackwood welcomes our latest terror: The Weird One The weird one, it seems, needs a warm host. But Blackwood is too weak; the weird wants a superhost, akon Sabrina Spellman. As Blackwood recovering from that deep, personal insult, Wardwell has decided to stay here, even though her church has gotten quite alarming by any reasonable measure I would have raced to the exits around the time Agatha showed up with a fresh tongue, but that’s just me – suggests they use a “Trojan horse” you know what that means: cute boy who comes through

Back at the morgue, Ambrose is up against a corpse and a tiny squid-like creature that flings out of the body and, as we’ll soon discover, finds a way to get involved in (in?) Sabrina’s gut gross! Sabrina is distracted by her hilarious bear surgery in which she creates a dream boyfriend who will grow in her bathtub. The next morning, her boyfriend is barely the size of a Labrador, but she is confident that he will be the size of one by the weekend Salem meows his disapproval, just like me. Also at home and as a side note, I think it’s great that Zelda is completely incapacitated by Hilda’s independence and absence. It’s as fun to watch as our normally steadfast Aunt Z is simply loses because she is unable to pour her own coffee and get the newspaper

Ambrose has been researching the Eldritch Terror and we have a full dump of information from him thanks to this great presentation he is making for the Coven and his allies (Roz, Harvey) Clever support while wearing a stunning deep V and perfect pants Hecate, bless this fashion plate Key takeaways from this Ted talk: The Eldritch horrors are ancient beings, they are not killable and they are destroying the world, there are still six Horror left, and the last one will be the void the universe will engulf you know Blackwood is involved, so (cleverness underscores this note with an icy look at Ambrose) if you see him, kill him the first time you know how do anything else to prepare? Apparently not! Stay vigilant, don’t freak out, freak out Cool Cool

At that meeting, Roz tells Mama Mambo that she has the ruse.Mambo is quite intrigued and later we learn that Roz is actually a witch – which isn’t the most unpredictable twist in the world. So much for Sabrina being the only special one in the group is! Harvey, Greendale’s resident Xander, is going to be so upset by this revelation provided Roz ever tells him, which she won’t do for the time being. A good sign of their burgeoning relationship, I say the best part is when cleverness is everything: ” do I know you? “and Roz has to say:” We met five or six times ??? “Great never change, Pru

On the subject of new relationships: Hello, Lucas Hunt! Is he Brina’s new boyfriend who escaped from the bathtub, or Wardwell’s Trojan horse, or just some guy who moved school at a really bad time? We will find out! He asks Sabrina for her “digits” which is weird because we’ve never seen Sabrina use a cell phone. He loves that her family run a funeral home “like Six Feet Under” and he’s a swimmer who does terribly close to octopus for my taste as far as the horror of the episode goes. After a little encouragement from Roz, Sabrina goes on a date with Lucas I love that “Dreams”, the hottest song of 2020, is playing in the background of that date! They bond over existential crises and end the night with a very chaste kiss I write on my notes Brina, he will probably turn out to be nasty or something, do some good makeup while you can !!

That night she has a dream in which she wears a very cute swimsuit and a beautiful underwater headband. The voice of the strange comes through Lucas’ mouth: With your strength we will consume all life Sounds exhausting Tentacles are created from Lucas – not ideal! – and Brina somehow wakes up in her bathtub. Is she reporting this to a trustworthy adult? She doesn’t! Instead, she goes to school, suddenly has terrible cramps and lets Lucas drive her home because she is in too much pain to be in school. After chugging a ton of water, she feels like herself again, so gets she finally got this makeout Good on you, Sabrina! The only problem: The weird has started to take over her body and she already has a tentacle tongue Lucas understandably scurries away as fast as his swimmer’s legs can carry him

Sabrina asks Ambrose what’s going on (as she should have done after the dream, but okay), and Ambrose finds out as usual: Sabrina transforms into a human-octopus hybrid because the third Eldritch- Terror collapses in her body With a magical CAT scan (clever!) Ambrose can see that Sabrina’s only option is surgery. What follows is very devastating and doesn’t even bring out the terror. So he comes up with another idea: Let Brinas Waters off what makes her an inhospitable hostess, and the weirds will go by themselves. I’m intrigued by this subject of the Eldritch Terrors that really live and die on hospitality

So the river witch comes over for the dehydration spell and Nick joins in because he’s worried about Sabrina (!) After some extremely realistic vomiting (A Kiernan Shipka), she pokes the squid Nick asks Sabrina how she’s feeling and his voice is so tender and loving I wonder why Sabrina thought she needed half a Harvey to get the sweetness and sensitivity she wanted. He assures her that her tongue is “as sweet and pink as ever, I take back everything I put in the.” Last episode said 16 is too young to get married Be with Nick forever, Sabrina!

Meanwhile, in Hell, Caliban talks about how he can’t wait to become king Lillith and Lucifer’s “bastard child” stand in the way of this vision, so he does some magic to force Lillith to have a violent miscarriage, as always looks incredible, feeling those excruciating labor complaints and bolts for Greendale, which I must say is a needlessly graphical representation of her birth There is a lot of moaning and yelling There is ZERO epidural Zelda oversees the birth of a son Lillith calls Adam who ” a perfect little devil, ”Caliban’s lackeys report that his spell did not have the intended effect, that Lillith is in Greendale and under the protection of the Spellman witches, who in turn are cared for by Hecate

Lilith looks glamorous as always, although I think it’s only been 15 minutes since she gave birth? The witches have been warned by Roz ‘vision and they know these hell demons are coming for baby Adam They use Hecate to give these dweebs “a mother’s pain” which she basically does

Sabrina feels like herself again and finds a hideous Lucas at school She tells him that she had an “intense allergic reaction to calamari.” He delightedly agrees to continue dissecting squid with her. But SURPRISE, Sabrina has not successfully driven the terror away, and she is still the weird one, providing her classmates with a deep one Computer voice says you will all be colonized and crack your throat in a very disturbing way. Ambrose arrives just in time and uses magic to turn everyone off and convince them that this was just a dream and brings Sabrina home. p>

So is Sabrina the strongest or the weakest? The weird tells her, “You were an empty vessel waiting to be filled.” Rude but guess what? Mass The magic of butcher paper shows that Sabrina’s consciousness has merged with that of the weird after it attaches itself to her brain. Your solution to this problem is to… give Sabrina’s brain all the diseases ??! Jesus (I write in my notes if you want to rot your brain just post it on twitter for a couple of hours, lol I’m sorry)

Sabrina needs some inner strength and a mantra that belongs only to her and her. Although I think it’s cute that she ends up singing “I’m 16 and 17”, I’m not sure if that really counts as “her and her.” your alone “is qualifiedBut who am I to find out what makes a beautiful and, given the circumstances, life-affirming duet between Sabrina and Nick? Will I ever be able to hear this song again without thinking about John Mulaney’s sketch of how old Rolfe is? These are questions for another time

The Rotten Witch (aka Goth Witch) starts beating Sabrina’s brain with illnesses Sabrina sticks to her little Nazi love song. A red and black ball of energy bursts from her mouth. She reports that she is fine, by song. Great work, everyone together! And again props for a villain deepening the story we’re really invested in – Sabrina’s development and her development as a young woman – instead of just a Rando monster that doesn’t really resonate with our main character, totally checks that one Creature called “The Weird” would have this effect? How could it make more sense to be the seeker or something? The emptiness?

The next day Sabrina learns that Lucas has moved to Riverdale A red herring, authors of CAOS and frankly a valid choice of Lucas and his parents Then Sabrina pulls the plug on her boyfriend in the bathtub and is (finally!) Realized that she has to find out who she is for herself

Ongoing puzzles: Okay, next is the “pervert” and Blackwood’s big dream is that terror has to listen to him and not the other way around. Does this seem like a likely hierarchy for either of you? Did Caliban inform Sabrina Morningstar of his plans to kill Lillith and her baby? Do
