EDMONTON – Flair Airlines has added another gateway to its network to make the most of what many are predicting for Canadians as another summer of domestic travel

Flair announced today that it will be discontinuing the service from Jan. July expanded to Montreal with direct flights between Montreal – Trudeau International Airport to Toronto, Vancouver, Abbotsford and Halifax

Flair, which describes itself as “Canada’s only independent ultra-low-cost airline,” announced last month that it would start its network on Jan. May expand to include Ottawa, Kitchener-Waterloo, Halifax and Saint John and other services. June service to Thunder Bay and Charlottetown. Service to Victoria is scheduled to begin in July and to Abbotsford in August

“We’re excited to bring the ULCC service to Montreal and offer our affordable rates in an area where Canadians have been paying far too much for too long,” said Stephen Jones, Flair President and CEO. “The Providing affordable air travel within Canada is an essential first step in getting travel and tourism going again. We know Montreal requires ULCC service and we are excited to bring our low fares to the area ”

According to Jones, Flair was one of the first airlines to operate its network exclusively on important domestic travel during the pandemic. Flair will only operate essential services until April and will increase service from May
