Strong winds have more than 2000 Hydro One customers from Port Loring to Powassan and Mattawan cut the power on Thursday evening

The storm blew up a transformer in Mattawan, ruining Antoine Mountain’s plan to open on Friday and powering 300 other homes and businesses

Sarina Goad, the resort’s social media and marketing director, said Hydro One expects to fix the issue by 4pm and the hill will open on Saturday morning

“We continue to hope that everything will be restored on Friday and that we can open on Saturday,” said Goad
