Grosenick, 31, joins his fourth NHL organization (after the Predators and Sharks) since starting his professional career in 2013.He did not appear in any game for the Kings and spent his final season with the Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL where he scored a 229 goals against the average and save 920 percent in 33 games

In seven professional seasons Grosenick has played 254 AHL games and scored a 2.52 GAA and save 912 percent In just two career NHL games, he has a 153 GAA, 958 percent save and a shutout

Grosenick’s move to Edmonton comes a day after the Oilers put goalkeeper Mike Smith into a long-term injured reserve

Smith will miss at least 24 days or 10 games after being put on LTIR. He was absent from practice Friday and didn’t play in the second half of the Vancouver Canucks tackle
