“Emma’s social media accounts are inactive, but her career is not,” he told Entertainment Weekly in a statement
The 30-year-old actress’s Instagram biography also states: “Emma’s official Instagram page is currently inactive and will not be updated”
Watson was believed to be taking a break from the big screen after her agent told the Daily Mail that the actress’s career was “dormant”
It has also been reported that Watson stepped back to spend more time with rumored fiancé Leo Robinton, with whom she has reportedly been dating since 2019
