A defiant Sen Kelly Loeffler has not yet conceded her opponent Raphael Warnock, who was declared the planned winner in the Georgia Senate runoff election,

Around 2 p.m. on Wednesday, NBC News, CBS News, and the Associated Press called the race for Warnock, a pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta

Speaking to her supporters around midnight at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Atlanta, Loeffler said, “Every legislative vote is counted and I will not stop working. So I ask for every single Georgian, every single American: stay with us We will keep fighting for you ”

She also said she was going to Washington D.C. The first thing in the morning she will meet with Congress to approve the electoral college. Loeffler said she was planning to object to the results that Biden won the presidential election

Meanwhile, Warnock declared victory after analysts phoned the race, saying his campaign was told they would never win. In a video address, Warnock said:

“Tonight we are proving that we would hope that hard work and the people by our side are anything possible. May my story be an inspiration to a young person trying to capture and grasp the American dream”

In the Georgia Senate’s other runoff race, Democrat Ossoff was around 12000 votes at the top, but there are still some postal ballots and early personal votes to be counted across the country Georgian Foreign Minister Brad Raffensperger told CNN that the voting results would not be updated again until around noon
