“Manchester United have reached an agreement with Atalanta on the future transfer of Amad Diallo, one of the most exciting young prospects in Italian football,” read a statement

“The 18-year-old Ivorian right-winger has been on the United Scouts’ radar since 2016 when he was spotted playing U15 players and the club has been tracking his progress ever since

“Diallo scored the first of three first-team appearances on his Serie A debut last season after being promoted to youth at Atalanta

“He will join United at a later date, subject to medical, personal conditions, and work permits”

Fabrizio Romano relayed the news, tweeting: “Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini announced in a press conference today that they are working on loaning Amad Diallo until June”’ “

Diallo is eagerly awaiting his move to United and despite Atalanta’s wish to stay a little longer, it seems unlikely

Solskjaer said he could not foresee any problems regarding the Diallo move and said: “Amad, we all have papers, I cannot see any obstacles
