24 hours in police custody returns tonight (Monday, 4 January) back for a two-part special that revolves around Victoria Breeden and her ex-husband
The award-winning Channel 4 show will document a real-life crime dubbed the “Black Widow” that made headlines last year
One police officer said of the case, “I’ve never seen anything like this in my entire career”
During their stay on the station, police officers try to get to the bottom of their alleged crimes
It all begins after a man hands over a secretly taped conversation between Victoria and another man to Cambridgeshire police
Cambridge Police then have to find out whether or not this was a real threat
In shocking scenes, detectives run to Rob to check his safety and to spread the news about his ex-wife
He is told, “On Tuesday night we had someone at the police station with a tape that basically says it was a recording of Victoria and another person conspiring to murder someone.” >
Visibly shocked, Rob says: “The past that I have with her I never thought that she would have gone that far ”
And while Breeden is in custody, the police decide to investigate her dating history to see if there are any links or similar stories
DS Barnshaw says in the episode that “I’ve never seen anything like it in my entire career”
Police custody is 24 hours tonight (Monday, April 4) January) at 9 p.m. on channel 4
