The actor showed his community spirit by offering his services at a local vaccination center

Hugh Bonneville has announced that he is working as Marshal at a West Sussex vaccination center, the Downton Abbey star has shared several pictures on his personal Instagram showing how he is serving his local community

He said he was “delighted” to help at the Riverbank Medical Center in Midhurst, where he joined a team of volunteers. One of the pictures showed him receiving the AstraZeneca vaccine, one of the two vaccines the Public issued

“I’m happy to be part of the support team as a volunteer marshal, because I’m allowed to wear anything,” he wrote under his Instagram photos

Bonneville joins a number of other actors to get the first push, including Sir Ian McKellen, Sir David Attenborough and Prue Leith

“For some people it is the first time in a year that they are no longer home,” Bonneville told the BBC. “We had people who were really grateful for the trip and felt a glimmer of hope.” p>
