Eamonn Holmes has said he will not let his chronic pain prevent him from working after returning home from the hospital

The 61-year-old announced that he was hospitalized Thursday night after experiencing the worst pain he had “ever experienced”

Eamonn first reported on his battle with chronic pain last weekend, which resulted in fans rushing to wish him well and offer their advice

The This Morning Star said Friday after going to the hospital that he had suffered “variations” in chronic pain for “years”

In a fan update, he wrote on Twitter, “I’ll have a clearer picture of what’s causing my pain tomorrow, but just to say, people like so many of you, I’ve lived with variations in chronic pain for years.” / p>

The TV presenter will be returning to the ITV show next week with co-host Ruth Langsford, while Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will be leaving for the Easter break

He added in his tweet that he “is proud that my experience has given you a voice and I am humble about your various experiences & your kindness to me”

“If we can get more solutions, more understanding and more resources for CP between us, that would be a result”

Eamonn shared a selfie of himself from the hospital on social media Thursday night with his face covered in a mask

Next to the snapshot, he wrote: “In hospital pain like I’ve never experienced in my life. You need to find out what is causing it”
