The teacher played by Stevie Basaula was grappling with an unnamed health complication when he began a relationship with Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold)

Although Isaac has said he was “ready to meet someone” and move on with his life, his mother Sheree (Suzette Llewellyn) warned him not to tell anyone about his medical diagnosis

On Thursday (25 February), Isaac revealed to his family that Lola suddenly stopped returning his calls after apologizing for being away during their last appointment

Isaac suspected that Sheree had warned Lola behind his back, although she denied this. Patrick encouraged Isaac to “get started” with Lola and leave Sheree to him

Instead, Isaac went into the parlor to face Sheree, where she admitted that she had warned Lola for his own good. When Sheree tried to convince Isaac that his mind was “playing tricks” on him, Isaac cut him off angry and insisted that he wasn’t afraid to say he had schizophrenia

Isaac also insisted that he be ready to tell people of his diagnosis as he was able to lead a productive life after his previous hospitalization.

Kim cut her off before they could discuss the situation further when Isaac told her he was going to get Lola to agree to pose for her matchmaking service

Sheree still seemed concerned, but Isaac remained determined to make a fresh start in his life
