Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced further details in his 2021 budget on the next steps in the self-employed income support system (SEISS)

There have been three payments already, and Mr. Sunak provided additional information about the fourth during his announcement But how can employees apply and who is eligible? This is what we know:

A fourth SEISS grant can be requested from April on the government website and is valid for February, March and April

This is because the government is now allowing workers to file their self-assessment tax returns for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 period as evidence of their income
