Shock: Former glamor model 42, reportedly “scared” as her rodent situation threatens to make her home “uninhabitable”, with Katie in a dilemma about what to do

The mother of five moved from her former home in West Sussex and called herself “Mucky Mansion” before the land was locked in March

The rented house of the former Loose Women star is only 10 minutes away from her ex-husband Peter Andre (47), with whom she shares the children Junior (13) and Princess (13)

Katie’s house problems emerged just days after reporting that her £ 2million Mucky Mansion was suffering from sewage buildup a year after the first leak from the septic tank on the side of the property

Katie, who bought the sprawling country house back in 2014, recently vowed to renovate and sell the house Doctors demand that she not return for the sake of her sanity

Overrun: A source told The Sun, “There are hundreds of them trying to get into the house from the outside – everyone thinks they came over from a nearby garden center”

In recent images, work seemed to have stalled when the exterior of the house was littered with trash and broken kitchen appliances by a fly dump truck while the pool was neglected

Last year, the TV star’s residence was decrepit and neglected with abandoned facilities amid her recent financial troubles

The renovations began in June 2019, but the influencer was devastated when the Mucky mansion was broken into and destroyed by intruders a year later

Not great: ‘It’s awful and Katie’s scared – the cat keeps bringing her in and it creates havoc. She complained to the landlord and hopefully they will sort this out.’

A source told The Sun at the time, “Katie is devastated, fears that anyone who has done this is having a vengeance on her and even believes this could be related to her opposing bullying trolls in social media fights back

“This crime was committed to inflict as much influence and personal excitement on Katie as possible,” the source continued

The publication also alleged that the burglars searched boxes of their personal effects that had been kept in their attic and left their belongings scattered on the floor

All of the damage is said to have been discovered by a neighbor who was just doing a routine inspection of the home and its 12 acres around it

Trying to move on: the reality star recently vowed to renovate and sell her filthy mansion Doctors demand that she not return for reasons of her sanity

The Old House: The West Sussex house suffered from sewage buildup a year after the first leak from the septic tank on the side of the property

In October, the media personality vowed never to return to her filthy mansion as she is full of “bad memories”

The TV star spoke openly to The Mirror about her decision, saying that doctors who had worked with her at the priory advised her to move because they believe it would be better for her sanity

Katie admitted that she still has the house while actively looking for a move, stating, “I moved in with him, the kids will stay with him, but his house is the showroom, it’s spotless , but mine is more like the jungle book

Chaos: Katie was forced to give up her 11 bedroom mansion in West Sussex, nicknamed the Mucky Mansion last December, just a month after she was declared bankrupt for failing to pay off her debt

‘The doctors from the priory said that mentally my house is a place I can never return to because there are too many memories

‘Even when I walk up the driveway I’m crazy and when I’m in I want to get out of there I can’t explain it in my head and it’s just so sad what happened to my house’

Katie announced that she was “done” with the house, and even if she could make it and make it a nice place to live, she admitted that she wasn’t mentally ready for it

No turning back: ‘The priory doctors said that mentally my house is a place I can never return to because there are too many memories’
