A new ITV show launching Lingo is starring well-known brummie and actor Adil Ray

The star of Citizen Khan and Good Morning Britain will host the show at 4 a.m. On January 1st, at 3 p.m., participants compete against each other to try to guess the words that appear on the show

In Lingo, which is broadcast Monday through Friday at 3 p.m., three pairs of candidates compete against each other in a word battle

With their deduction skills, they must work out the words that appear in the lingo grids and puzzle words correctly and quickly

The Lingo computer gives the participants the first letter of different length words The rest is in the hands of the participants You are against the clock and Lingo rewards fast thinkers. If they guess the word correctly, they will transfer money and their potential winnings increase

This winning pair then play in an exciting endgame where they have the chance to win the money they deposited at the start of the show and possibly even double their winnings

There are no guarantees of lingo, however, and in the dramatic finale they could go home with absolutely nothing or win thousands of pounds

Birmingham star Adil said, “I feel like I just won the Star Award on a game show!” I’m really excited to be working with ITV and Wildcard and putting on such a brilliant game

“When I told my aunt about it, she wanted to stand as a candidate while it was in Punjabi
