The 18-year-old and Olly won after a tough fight against the other finalists Gevanni Hutton (Team Will), Jonny Brooks (Team Tom) and Brooke Scullion (Team Meghan)

Talk to Metroco, regarding the 2021 series, Olly admitted that he didn’t think they’d get the talent this year because people may have been too “afraid to leave their homes”

He said to us, “Given all that has happened this year, I thought,” Oh, this could be one of those years where we might not get the talent. People might be too anxious about their homes to leave “

“Why would people want to audition for a show at this point because there are a lot of other things that are more important right now”

“To be honest, the talent was incredible. I honestly didn’t expect it to be this great, and it was. It exceeded my expectations this year’

“People put everything that happened aside and left”Regardless of what is happening in the world right now, I’ll keep pursuing my dream. I want to be a star, I want to get a record deal,” he added

Dance With Me Tonight hitmaker added that it was “good for the soul” to see participants audition this year

Anne-Marie of The Voice wants to “make mental health a big deal” when she remembers her own struggle

“We had so much great talent and for us coaches it was really good for the soul to hear live singing, live voices and live bands,” he continued

“It was really stupid for the four of us and I think you can see that we are really happy and it’s just nice to hear live music right now”’
