World News – UK – Taskmaster returns to C4 with Greg Davies: How tall is the comedian?

Series back on Channel 4 – but how tall is Greg Davies? And was he really a teacher?

The comedian and actor, famous for his role in The Inbetweeners, will host the BAFTA winning show alongside Alex Horne

Viewers probably know him best for his roles as Greg in We Are Klang, Mr. Gilbert in The Inbetweeners, Ken Thompson in Cuckoo and Dan Davies in Man Down

Greg is known for his guest appearances on Mock the Week, would I lie to you? and 8 out of 10 cats also

Greg created and written the sitcom Man Down, which ran for four seasons on Channel 4 from 2013 to 2017

In it, Greg starred as an acting teacher who receives a wake-up call when his girlfriend leaves him

He said the inspiration for many of the jokes came from his old job as a teacher and member of his family

The Inbetweeners movie in which he played his role as Mr Gilbert reiterated, bringing in £ 64 million at the box office, compared to the production budget of £ 3.5 million

Greg describes being tall as “boring” because of the “prepared jokes” he hears all the time

He said to Mock the Week: “Let me give you an example: I am often asked what the weather is like up there”

Greg used to be a teacher and used his old job as an inspiration for Man Down

“The reason it was weird is because the classroom we were shooting in was my real classroom when I was a teacher

Greg taught acting and English at Langleywood School in Slough, Orleans Park School in Twickenham and Sandhurst School in Sandhurst

for 13 years

But we do know that he was in a relationship with Labor MP Liz Kendall for eight years

At the time, Liz, a candidate for Labor leadership, announced that they had split a few weeks before the general election

The tasks are supervised by Alex Horne, but the task master Greg Davies always has the last word
