Participating CVS pharmacies are located in: Boston, Braintree, Cambridge, Chelsea, East Falmouth, Fall River, Holyoke, Hudson, Ipswich, Lynn, Malden, Medfield, Methuen, Milford, New Bedford, North Easton, North Grafton , Palmer, Peabody, Randolph, Seekonk, Springfield, Sturbridge, Watertown, Weymouth and Worcester

Appointments can be made directly on the pharmacy’s website starting Thursday. CVS Health is expected to publish new appointments online every day. Walk-in vaccinations without an appointment will not be offered

The supply will initially start low, since around 21600 doses are available from the federal pharmacy partnership. As soon as more offers are available, the company will expand to additional locations and offer additional dates

The Massachusetts CVS sites are part of an initial vaccine roll-out in 11 states: California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia

Eventually, vaccines will be available at pharmacy locations across the country The company estimates its vaccination capacity at 20 to 25 million shots per month
