On 4 March 2021, the FBI posted a photo on social media of a person who allegedly participated in the violence at the US Capitol on Jan. January When this picture first got around, some social media users got involved, saying that the man looked like Jay Johnston, an actor who had roles on shows like “Bob’s Burgers,” “Mr. Show ”and the“ Sarah Silverman Program ”

As of this writing, the identity of the person in this photo has not been verified.The FBI has kept a list of all those arrested for participating in the Capitol attack Updated March and Johnston’s name wasn’t on it

However, a number of Johnston’s fellow television broadcasters have posted messages on social media claiming the actor really attended the riot

Comedian Tim Heidecker, who worked with Johnston on the HBO show “With Bob and David”, wrote on Twitter that this was “confirmed” by “reliable sources”:

Heidecker later deleted that tweet, saying it “should not be used as an official source of information or verification” ”
