The spring-like weather will come to an end when colder weather moves to Colorado and heavy snowfall develops for the weekend

There will be some snow overnight and early Wednesday when a weather disturbance moves across the state.The snow totals can be a few inches north from Denver to Cheyenne, and the roads can be a bit muddy and slippery on early Wednesday this one Storm is just the prelude to a much stronger system that will swirl across the state from Friday through Sunday
The first small storm will break out on Wednesday and the skies will be partly cloudy in Denver in the afternoon, highs will be cooler in the lower 50s In the mountains, snow showers will decrease and heights will be between 30 and 40

Although the major storm system is still a few days away, it is now right off the California coast and will move towards the central Rocky Mountains on Wednesday.This storm shows good potential to be a heavy snow producer for the mountains by the weekend To become foothills, the I-25 corridor and the eastern plains

On Thursday, colder weather will begin to move in the Denver metropolitan area, along with some rain and snow. By Friday, rainfall will be completely covered in snow and increasing in coverage and intensity. Temperatures will be in their 40s on Thursday and on Friday 30s fall
