World news – USA – review: “To all boys: Always and forever”, a fitting farewell to the beloved couple

The series “To All the Boys” has always had its big heart on its sleeve, and the third and last entry (sobbing) “To all boys: Always and forever” remains true to itself fans, those who long for the end of the story of Lara Jean (Lana Condor) and Peter (Noah Centineo) will find this enjoyment just as satisfying as the famous biscuits of their heroine, with just as balanced sweetness

As Lara Jean and Peter approach their high school graduation, their plans to go to Stanford together are in jeopardy – as is their happy-ever-after ending. After a senior trip to New York City, Lara Jean falls in love with the city and NYU and has to choose between their future and their relationship

As in Jenny Hans’ YA trilogy, Lara Jean and Peter’s three films ensures that the story doesn’t end when the couple turns into “To All the Boys I Loved Before” as most teenage Roms gathered -coms do instead, the series lets Lara Jean grow and emphasizes the importance of this evolution to her and their relationships

This bouncy third entry is a bit long, but it’s hard to hate spending time with these characters. “To All the Boys” has always developed the friends and family around Lara Jean with surprising depth and devoted themselves to relationships that go beyond its central romance goes beyond whether it is Lara Jean’s connections to her sisters (Janel Parrish and series MVP Anna Cathcart), her father (John Corbett), or her bitter BFF Christine (Madeleine Arthur) returning director Michael Fimognari and screenwriter Katie Lovejoy wrote a love letter to all of these characters – not just Lara Jean and Peter – and the audience will have a hard time not getting hit too
